Elizabeth George is an award winning author, teacher, television personality, and speaker whose ministry is dedicated to teaching the Bible to women in a way that can change their lives.

With over 40 books to her credit, Elizabeth continues to top the best-sellers list. Her book, A Woman After God�s Own Heart�, has sold over 700,000 copies nationwide. For four consecutive years, it has been honored with "Premier 100" status from The Christian Booksellers Association in the category of the top 100 best-selling books. Some of her other titles include Life Management for Busy Women, The Remarkable Women of the Bible, Beautiful in God's Eyes, A Wife After God's Own Heart, Powerful Promises for Every Woman, A Woman's Walk With God and God's Wisdom for a Woman's Life.

Elizabeth, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Oklahoma, has taught in both public and private schools and in age groups ranging from preschool to adult. She is a featured keynote speaker at women's events and appears regularly on national television and radio programs.

For more than 20 years Elizabeth was privileged to teach and develop Bible curriculum for the Every Woman's Grace ministry at Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, California. She also taught regularly in the women's tract at the Logos Bible Institute at Grace Church. Her Bible teaching and training also includes teaching the wives of seminary students at both Talbot Theological Seminary and The Master's Seminary where her husband Jim taught and served as Dean of Admissions and Placement. Since moving to Washington, Jim and Elizabeth have been serving in their present church, Faith Community Bible Church in Bremerton, Washington, where Jim often preaches and teaches. Elizabeth and her husband Jim have been married 39 years. Both are writers, teachers, and speakers. They have been active in ministry for more than 30 years. Their ministry is to create books for practical Christian living and personal Bible study. They have two married daughters and six grandchildren, and live and write on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington.
